Simple handling as a result of low weight and compact design - can be used even in confined areas. Pinch guard prevents operators' fingers being pinched. For cables with single and multi-wire conductors (conductor classes 1 & 2 according to DIN EN 60228, VDE 0295, IEC 60228). Manual open and emergency release possible in any position. Lockable for transport in closed condition - saves space and protects the tool. Not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes and fine-stranded (highly flexible) conductors. Cuts copper and aluminium cables up to a diameter of 52 mm (380 mm²) in one and two-handed operation. Hardened cutting edges, precisely ground, cut smoothly and neatly without crushing.
