Zwaluw Tixoplast®
An asphalt-based sealant and adhesive with good bonding properties for both dry and wet surfaces. Resistant to moisture, water, abrasion, etc. Exhibits very high adhesion to most construction materials. Once cured, it forms a flexible seal that can be painted with bituminous paints.
Suitable for bonding and sealing bituminous roofing membranes and asphalt shingles, as well as for emergency waterproofing of wet surfaces (e.g., during rain). Used on flat roofs, gutters, chimneys, skylights, roof valleys, etc. Recommended for sealing joints prior to the application of the DB ALUBAND bituminous membrane.
Not recommended for underwater use or for application on PE, PP, PC, PMMA, and PTFE.
