RUBBERCOMP® is a multi-purpose, air drying specialty rubber coating. It can be easily applied by spraying. It protects coated items against moisture, acids, abrasion, corrosion, and skidding /slipping, and provides a comfortable, controlled grip. RUBBERcomp® remains flexible and stretchy over time and will not crack or become brittle in extreme weather conditions. It has been tested and proven in temperatures from -30°C to +90°C. Easy to peel off. Around four paint layers needed for adequate film thickness. The neon colors have no UV-protection.
Clean the surface of oils, grease, dirt, wax and loose rust. Shake the spray can well before use. Spray a small test patch on an invisible area. Previously painted surfaces with 1-component paintsmight react with RUBBERcomp®. Spray several thin layers. 4 paint layers are needed for adequate film thickness. Let the surface dry about 10-20 min. between each layer. Thicker layers will take longer to dry. Clean the nozzle by spraying the can upside down for approx. 3-4 seconds. Wipe off any excess paint from nozzle if necessary.
When using the product indoors, ensure that the area within at least a 5-meter radius of the painted object is protected. Paint dust is lightweight and can spread over long distances through ventilation.
