Simple handling as a result of low weight and compact design - can be used even in confined areas. Pinch guard prevents operators' fingers being pinched. For cables with single and multi-wire conductors (conductor classes 1 & 2 according to DIN EN 60228, VDE 0295, IEC 60228). Manual open and emergency release possible in any position. Lockable for transport in closed condition - saves space and protects the tool. Not suitable for steel wire, wire ropes and fine-stranded (highly flexible) conductors. Fixed handle with support area for putting down the pliers when cutting. Hardened cutting edges, precisely ground, cut smoothly and neatly without crushing. Cuts copper and aluminium cables up to a diameter of 60 mm (600 mm²) in one and two-handed operation.
