Professional-grade, heavy-duty manual tile cutter, manufactured in Italy by Sigma Professional Tile Cutters. Unlike the ultra-compact 7F model, the 5A features a wide base made of reinforced aluminum alloy, designed to accommodate larger and thicker ceramic and porcelain (gres) tiles.
Wide spring-loaded support base: Features a large support surface and internal steel plates ("flat springs") that flex downwards when breaking pressure is applied, protecting the delicate edges of textured or polished tiles.
Adjustable scoring height: Equipped with special height-adjustment screws along the main chrome-plated rail. This allows the user to adjust the working clearance, maintaining optimal contact between the scoring wheel and the tile for thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 20 mm.
High-leverage breaking mechanism: Utilizes a "pull-to-score" handle design—equipped with a shock-absorbing plastic guard—to ensure a clean break without leaving scuff marks or cracks on the tile's glazed surface.
