Application Method
Surface preparation:
Dirt, mold and loose particles must be removed. Very resinous woods must first be cleaned with nitro solvent. Previously varnished surfaces must be removed until the wood is in its original form. The surface must be dry, clean and solid. Acceptable wood moisture levels: For softwood 15% - hardwood 12%.
Application:
Ready to use, do not dilute. Mix well before use. Apply 2-3 coats by brush, spray or dip. 30 minutes after application, wipe with a lint-free cloth. Do not use at temperatures below 5°C and/or relative humidity above 80%. For better UV protection, do not apply the clear Wood Stain (900) alone, unless you first use one of the available tints. Use the clear as a final coat and for future maintenance.
